Model-Driven Development - State of the Art
This tutorial provides an overview over the current state of the art in model-driven development.
It is structured into three parts: the first part explains commonalities and differences between
the various acronyms and approaches such as MDSD, MDA, MIC (Model-Integrated Computing),
LOP (Language-Oriented Programming) and SF (Software Factories). Part two then illuminates
a number of industry best practices illustrated with various open source tools. Finally, the
third part shows typical usage scenarios and example projects where a model-driven approach has
been used successfully.
