Intentional and Me

Starting November 1st, 2007 my main customer will be Intentional Software. I will remain to be independent and also work for other companies, but my primary focus will be on Intentional.

Intentional's goal is to build a tool that uses DSL technology to capture the business knowledge that exists in organizations. The core technology is the Intentional Domain Workbench (a kind of Language Workbench as described by Martin Fowler). Core to the technology is a generic data structure for efficiently storing arbitrary data (called the Intentional Tree) as well as a Projectional Editor that supports rendering the data in arbitrary notations.

From my point of view, this is the future of DSLs and Model-Driven Development and an important building block for the future of software development in general. I am really glad to be able to help out.
